It seems the release of the new Pentax film camera is approaching. Ricoh has released a teaser video on YouTube that seems to be in line with an earlier statement from Ricoh that they will release the camera in summer 2024.

The video can be viewed below and ends with the number ’17’. This could refer to the fact it is a half frame camera with an image size of 17x24mm. It could however also refer to something totally different (the name of the camera?). This is all speculation and as usual we have to be patient.
